All teams are training this Wednesday – Regular-training times. Get along!

* Mini Roos U6 & U8s training will commence at 4.15pm.

* Under 12s skills training from 4.15 & Under 14s from 5pm at Thompson Reserve

* Seniors from 6.30pm Wednesday only at Thompson Reserve

Sunday Morning Set Up & Canteen

The next home game for us in Round 15 vs Drouin Dragons SC so we will need some helpers to set up the goals and nets. Can helpers please be on hand by 8.15am.

We also needs helpers to assist with canteen duty, cooking a few snags or baking for any home games, please see Mel, Julian or Annie to let them know how you can help.

Key Dates to Wrap Up of the Season 2018

Crikey, the end of the season is coming up quickly, as are the finals. As mentioned above all of our senior sides are inline to play finals this season. Dates are listed below, finals will depend upon final ladder positions. Plenty of other stuff on as well so have a close read of the information below.

1. Finals 2018
This year’s finals series dates and locations are booked in and Inverloch is lucky enough to host the playoff between 2nd and 3rd.
.
Semi Final – 1v4 – 9 September 2018; @ Leongatha
.
Semi Final – 2v3 – 16 September 2018; @ Inverloch
.
Grand Final 23 September 2018; @ Mirboo North
.
.
2. Light Up the Stars Ceremony – Wednesday 29 August commencing at 6pm
.
Finally with the final fourth lighting tower being completed we would like to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work and efforts of all of those who have supported the project. The Light Up the Stars Ceremony will be after training on Wed 29 August. Local and state government dignitaries will be in attendance to official celebrate the light!
.
All teams will be encouraged to start training at 5pm that evening with a view to attending the Ceremony. There will be a sausage sizzle at 6pm to feed the hungry kids!

3. Mini Roos Gala Day Newhaven Recreation Reserve – Sat 8 September
.
We’ll wrap up the Mini Roos season we have a gala day for the kids on Saturday 8 September. As this is the morning of the clubs Mini Roos/Junior presentations so we will be requesting morning fixtures to ensure we can all get back to the clubrooms for the presentations at 2.30pm.
.
The Mini Roos coaches will confirm participation with their teams.

4. Mini Roos / Juniors Presentations 6-14s – Sat 8 September 2.30-4.30pm – Thompson Reserve Clubrooms
.
We’ll wrap up the Junior season this year with our Annual Presentation Afternoon. The ceremony will get under way at 2pm with a bit of afternoon tea afterwards. Everyone is asked to bring a plate.
.
Post ceremony we’ll run a Kids v Parents match – after a year of training and hard fought matches the kids will hard to beat!! Bring your runners!
.

5. GSL League Presentation Evening – Fri 14 September 7pm – Korumburra Soccer Club Rooms
.
The GSL night of nights will occur on Friday 14 September 2018. Senior players and coaches will be invited to attend GSL’s Presentation Evening.

6. Senior Presentation Night – Fri 21 September 6pm – Inlet Hotel
.
To kick off a big weekend of Stars Soccer we’ll be conducting our Annual Presentation Night at the Inlet Hotel on Friday 21 September from 6pm. This will be great night of celebration and anticipation as our senior teams get set for finals action.
.
Dinner from about 6.30pm will probably be along the lines of the burger night arrangement of last year. Pre-purchase of burgers will be available shortly and is vital to help the evening run smoothly.
