Woop Woop the Stars Senior Mens top the league. A strong win over Wonthaggi confirmed our Senior Mens team as league champions for the first time in the team’s history. A great achievement and congratulations to coach Denis Landron and his team. Thanks must go to the 8 man

Meanwhile, the women’s team also enjoyed a strong win over Wonthaggi to confirm their third place on the ladder and confirm a home final in week 2 of the finals series.

So it’s now the GSL finals. Week 1 will see the Inverloch Seniors up against Korumburra (1v4) at 3pm looking for a grand final berth to affirm their 1 ranking.

Mini Roos Gala Day Newhaven Recreation Reserve – Sat 8 September 9am

The Mini Roos Gala Day is on for the kids this Saturday 8 September at Newhaven. Games will commence from 9am. Coaches will confirm match times closer to the weekend!

Mini Roos / Juniors Presentations 6-14s – Sat 8 September 2.30-4.30pm – Thompson Reserve Clubrooms

We’ll wrap up the Junior season this year with our Annual Presentation Afternoon. The ceremony will get under way at 2pm with a bit of afternoon tea afterwards. Everyone is asked to bring a plate.

Post ceremony we’ll run a Kids v Parents match – after a year of training and hard fought matches the kids will hard to beat!! Bring your runners!

GSL League Presentation Evening – Fri 14 September 7pm – Korumburra Soccer Club Rooms

The GSL night of nights will occur on Friday 14 September 2018. Senior players and coaches will be invited to attend GSL’s Presentation Evening.

Stars Hosting Week 2 of the GSL Finals – Volunteers Needed
.
The Inverloch Stars have been granted the right to host Week 2 of this year’s GSL Finals. This will give the club a great chance to raise funds through the canteen and BBQ that we will run. We will need some support to make all this happen.

Senior Presentation Night – Fri 21 September 6pm – Inlet Hotel

To kick off a big weekend of Stars Soccer we’ll be conducting our Annual Presentation Night at the Inlet Hotel on Friday 21 September from 6pm. This will be great night of celebration and anticipation as our senior teams get set for grand finals action.

Dinner from about 6.30pm. Presentations from around 8pm.
